The Chrysalis Service at First Baptist Welcome is a contemporary service that takes place at the same time as the 11:00am traditional service. The Chrysalis service takes place in the Large Fellowship Hall upstairs.
A "chrysalis" is a transformation chamber, such as a seed or a cocoon. The gospel of Jesus Christ is what changes the spiritual heart of a person to a new creature, and the goal of the Chrysalis service is extending the good news of Jesus and celebrating the hope that is in Him.
The Chrysalis service at First Baptist Welcome has no ties whatsoever to any other Chrysalis programs nationwide.
