The Dental Clinic Ministry began in October, 2008. Our goals for this ministry are, first and foremost – share the love of Jesus Christ with our community and to provide for the physical and spiritual needs of the patients we treat. We work closely with agencies in Davidson County such as Davidson Medical Ministry to help identify patients in need. We provide medical screenings, prayer and counseling, food and clothing at each clinic. We utilize equipment and supplies provided by The Giving Hand Foundation in Yadkinville and the clinic is set up in the large fellowship hall.
Local dentists, dental assistants and hygienists provide the dental care and we count on volunteers from our congregation to do the rest. Our hope is to hold a clinic annually.
The next clinic will be a part of the Operation Inasmuch initiative of the North Carolina Baptists to provide a state-wide blitz of outreach activities.
