Part of worship is growing, giving, and going.  That is what being on mission is about.  At FBC we believe one way to grow as a Christian is to get out of the pew and experience the satisfaction that comes by sharing Jesus Christ with others in ways that meet spiritual, physical, and emotional needs.  Your worldview will change and your experience will allow you to see service in a new light.  You will be amazed when you see firsthand what God does when you are available.

Our Church is a place where you are able to give of your time, your money, and your skills.  There are opportunities to be involved at many levels in local, state, national, and international projects.  We are eager to provide you an opportunity to partner with God and think outside the walls of our facility.  As someone has said “it is not your ability but your availability”. 

At FBC we understand whether you go across the street, across the state, or across the sea you are putting missions into motion.  It is not about how many miles you travel but how willing you are to share your faith and impact the world.  Maybe you can’t go to Philadelphia or the Philippines but you can go to God in prayer.  Anyone that has ever gone on mission can tell you the importance of prayer to missions.  It is the prayer of the Missions Development Committee that you find how God will use you on mission.

Missions Development

On a regular basis, our church teaches people of all ages about missions. From children to adults, there are many ways that people can learn about the work of missionaries, and how even they can be on mission themselves.
